Not only did Kermit Lynch redefine wine importing in America, he also wrote one of the greatest wine books in modern times, Adventures on the Wine Route, in 1988. We met for a 90-minute interview in 2022, the 50th anniversary of his company, and discussed everything from wine writing to natural wine and the flaws of appellation laws.
